XI. Use of Cookies
We use cookies to make your visit to our website more user-friendly. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer.
Most of the cookies used by us are deleted from your hard drive immediately after you close your browser. These are known as session cookies.
Persistent cookies remain on your computer and allow us to recognise your computer on your next visit and, for example, to keep items in your shopping basket even if you visit other websites in the meantime.
These cookies in particular serve to make your visit to our website more convenient and to tailor our offering to your individual preferences.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses.
XII. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”).
Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States.
If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet use.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website, including your IP address, and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link:
http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Information on data protection when using Google Analytics can be found at:
https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html?hl=de
General information on data protection can be found at:
http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy
XIII. Use of Google Remarketing
We use the Google Remarketing service on our website. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
Google Remarketing allows advertisements to be shown to users who have previously visited our website. Within the Google advertising network, interest-based advertisements can thereby be displayed on our website.
Google Remarketing uses cookies for this analysis. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of website use.
This makes it possible to recognise visitors when they access websites within the Google advertising network.
In this way, advertisements can be presented within the Google advertising network that relate to content previously accessed by the visitor on websites within the Google advertising network that also use Google’s remarketing function.
According to Google, Google does not collect any personal data in this process.
You can deactivate this function by selecting the appropriate settings at:
http://www.google.com/settings/ads
XIV. Use of Google AdWords
We also use the Google advertising tool “Google AdWords” to promote our website.
In this context, we use the “Conversion Tracking” analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
If you reach our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie will be placed on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and stores on your computer.
These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.
If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you clicked on one of our advertisements placed on Google and were redirected to our site.
The information obtained with the help of conversion cookies is used by Google to create visit statistics for our website.
These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on our advertisement and which pages of our website were subsequently accessed by the respective user.
However, neither we nor other advertisers using Google AdWords receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
You can prevent the installation of conversion cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser, for example by configuring your browser to generally disable the automatic setting of cookies or specifically to block cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.
Google’s privacy policy in this regard can be accessed via the following link:
https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
XV. Use of Script Libraries and Font Libraries, Including Google Web Fonts
In order to display our content correctly and attractively across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as Google Web Fonts:
https://www.google.com/webfonts/
Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser cache to avoid repeated loading.
If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or blocks access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library.
It is theoretically possible, although currently unclear whether and for what purposes, that operators of such libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
XVI. Use of Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographical information.
When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors.
Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy notices. There, you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy centre.
Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found there.
XVII. Embedded YouTube Videos
On some of our websites, we embed YouTube videos.
The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you visit a page containing the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is informed which pages you visit.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.
Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google advertising programme should not expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies.
If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at:
https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
XVIII. Use of Facebook Plugins
So-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook are used on our website. Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”).
The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo or the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”.
An overview of Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins
When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers.
The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page.
Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the relevant page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged into Facebook.
This information, including your IP address, is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the United States and stored there.
If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook profile.
If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or leaving a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there.
The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in Facebook’s privacy notices:
http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to directly associate the data collected via our website with your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
You can also completely prevent Facebook plugins from loading by using add-ons for your browser.
XIX. Facebook Custom Audiences and Website Custom Audiences
We use communication tools of the social network Facebook on our website. Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
In particular, we use the products “Custom Audiences” and “Website Custom Audiences”.
In principle, a non-reversible and non-personal checksum, also known as a hash value, is generated from your usage data and may be transmitted to Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes.
For the Website Custom Audiences product, the Facebook cookie is addressed.
Further information about the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your options for protecting your privacy, can be found directly in Facebook’s privacy policies, including at:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/
and
https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation
If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Website Custom Audiences, you can do so at:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/
If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Custom Audiences, please log out of our web services.
XX. Competitions
Nutriogenomics runs competitions on Facebook and Instagram on various occasions.
The winners are published only with their name and place of residence. After contacting the winner, the data is deleted immediately.
XXI. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge
The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any collected reviews, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order.
This serves to protect our legitimate interests, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests, in the optimal marketing of our offering pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are provided by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.
When the Trustbadge is accessed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, your IP address, date and time of access, data volume transferred and the requesting provider, known as access data, and documents the access.
This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your page visit.
Further personal data is transferred to Trusted Shops only if you have given your consent, if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order, or if you have already registered for their use.
In this case, the contractual agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies.
